(SBS) provides professional services and turn-key information technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, primarily in the greater southeast Michigan, Atlanta and Phoenix areas, as well as hosting and storage solutions nationwide. The IT Division began in 1998 as a small startup named Source One Solutions, Inc., with an office in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The company developed a core set of IT service offerings based around the needs of small businesses. Over time these offerings expanded, new opportunities were pursued and some much larger companies such as Pulte Homes, First American Title and FiServ became clients. In August of 2003 the company was acquired by Strategic Financial Services, Inc. and became known as Strategic Business Solutions, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic Financial Services.
